Nelson Alvarez is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified General Accountant (CGA) with 24 years of experience in public practice. He specializes in accounting, tax, estate and succession planning, and consulting services for private corporations and their shareholders. Nelson is passionate about creating practical solutions to help business owners achieve their goals.
In January 2014, Nelson founded his own accounting firm, Alvarez CPA Inc, in Gibsons, BC. Before establishing his firm, he held various roles, including senior management positions, at local, national, and international accounting firms in Vancouver. Nelson holds a Certified General Accountant designation, a diploma in Financial Management from BCIT, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Manitoba.
