Her transition into accounting was driven by her extensive background in the financial industry and a desire to deepen her expertise. Amy keeps herself updated with the latest industry trends by continually taking online courses and webinars, ensuring she remains knowledgeable about corporate and personal tax changes. She holds certifications as a Xero Advisor and QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, as well as in Professional Income Tax Entry Level and Proprietorship tax returns.

Outside of work, she dedicates much of her time to her two children, often at the ice arena or baseball field, and volunteers on boards for two youth sports organizations.
